The Aiolos NTUA student team

The Aiolos student team of the National Technical University of Athens works with a lot of passion and enthusiasm on the wind specialization. This student team designs and manufactures prototype small wooden wind turbines and it is based on the collaboration of School of Mechanical Engineering - NTUA, School of Electrical and Computer Engineering - NTUA and SmartRUE - Smart Grids Research Unit ECE NTUA!

Months of systematic work in study, design and optimization by the NTUA Aiolos team led to the completion of the construction of a small wind turbine, which left the Aerodynamics laboratory, School of Mechanical Engineering NTUA for the International Small Wind Turbine Contest ( ISWTC) in the Netherlands!
