Wind Tunnel Summer School visit to a Wind Farm
On the final day of the #WindTunnelSummerSchool held at NTUA, our participants had the opportunity to attend a day trip to a wind farm! The students observed operating wind turbines as well as wind turbines being installed.
The visit provided an up-close look at the construction of wind turbines by ENERCON, allowing our postgraduate students and young researchers to gain a deeper understanding of the practical applications of their studies in wind energy.
A big thank you to iSolar SA for hosting us and to ENERCON for showcasing their innovative wind turbines and for sharing their expertise. This experience was a perfect conclusion to an intensive week of learning and hands-on experimentation!
